National consultant: UN External Mental Health Professional (External Stress Counsellor) Number of Post: 04 Country: Bangladesh (Dhaka and Field Locations) Description of the Assignment: The appointment of an external mental health professional (also known as external stress counsellor) for UN Bangladesh was initiated in 2012, to comply with UNDSS MOSS mandatory requirements and subsequent approval of the SMT, to respond to constant requests from UN staff and UNAFP’s for psychosocial support services and get payment as per the established rate in this ToR. The primary role of the external stress counsellor will be to respond to on-demand services of UN staff and UNAFP’s. Period of assignment/services: 01 year Please note that this procurement process is being conducted through the new online tendering system of UNDP.
