Country: Malaysia Description of the Assignment: UNDP multi-country office in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam is looking for a Senior Programming Specialist, who will conduct sensemaking analysis of climate and energy landscape in Malaysia, and desk review-based content assessment of project documents, reports and knowledge products produced under the current programme support by UNDP and Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam for strategic programming interventions, partnership and financing opportunities that could be relevant for the expansion of climate (mitigation, adaptation & resilience) and energy portfolio in Malaysia. The Senior Programming Specialist will also support the just transition agenda by increasing country awareness of the principles of a just transition, strengthening their ability to engage in just transition processes, and developing capacity to implement just transition practices. Period of assignment/services: 29 May – 30 November 2023 (Up to 30 working days ) Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
