Introduction :

Youth participation in politics and public decision-making is a fundamental right. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) pointedly provides for the right to political participation in government to everyone. This has also been reiterated in many other Conventions and Declarations such as the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) with a comprehensive detail of the right to political participation, and it also highlights that this right should be enjoyed by all citizens without any of the distinction and without restriction.

UNDP is looking for an experienced NGO/research institution/national firm to realize the following objectives and outputs given the above background and context. These below activities are devoted to providing young people capacity and knowledge needed to be able to participate meaningfully in the political and public life in Viet Nam. 

The purposes of these activities are (i) Increased awareness and build capacity of youth on the National Assembly including its mission, functions, operations, and the election campaign process and (ii) Increase awareness and build capacity of youth on thematic areas: Gender Equality and gender diversity topics.

Please prepare your proposal in accordance with the requirements and procedure as set out in this RFP and submit it by the deadline for submission of proposals set out in the system.
