Introduction

In 2022, UNDP conducted “Need-based assessment on the demand for specialists in the piloted sectors of economy” among 308 companies. The results showed, young graduates lack employable skills and knowledge shortages compliant with the labor market demand on specialists. Building on this, the current sub-project intends to develop inter-platform integrated into an existing HR platform, that consists of unique design, functional and networking, targeted to create internship and apprenticeship opportunities to support graduate students to enhance their knowledge and skills prior they start looking for employment.  The initiative will invite graduate students from universities, institutes, colleges, and vocational schools to strengthen knowledge and skills following labor market demand for specialists. The platform will attract public and private companies to offer opportunities for internship and apprenticeship programs for youth.
