Amendment : The Minutes of the Site visit is attached for bidders reference. Several questions were raised during the site visit, as follows: Q.1 Regarding the mobilization and UNDP offices, item 5.B in UNDP Health and Safety Requirements mention temporary offices for UNDP use, whereas item A in the BoQ mentions doesn’t mention that. UNDP Response: The Contractor shall comply with all the requirements in UNDP Health and Safety Requirements. However, the Contractor is not required to provide temporary offices for UNDP use, as UNDP has its own office in JAIP Building. Accordingly, the Contractor shall implement what is mentioned in item A in the BoQ including providing offices for the Contractor team offices and a meeting room as mentioned in the Item, in addition to the printer and transportation for the engineer as mentioned under item A in the BoQ. Q.2 The Drawings, in S-18 doesn’t show providing water stop between the foundation and the walls for the open channels and box culvert, can you please advise if this is not required. UNDP Response: Water stop is required at the expansion joint only and as per drawings and specifications. Q.3 Backfilling shall be placed in 30cm layers, each layer shall be moistened and compacted to at least 90% of maximum dry density, contractor to use the excavated material from the site. It is the contractor responsibility to ensure compaction is done as pr specification and up to the required level. Contractor can refer to the attached soil investigation report done in the location.
