SEV-IMS will strengthen local governments capacity to respond vulnerable people during internal shocks like monsoon related disasters, economic downfall, natural disasters etc. It contributes to better coordination of services and linking beneficiaries with other government programmes. Information in the SEVMIS can be used by other programmes, for example to target different beneficiaries.
