Introduction
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Jamaica, of 1-3 Lady Musgrave Road, Kingston, on behalf of the participating UN Agencies - invites proposals for qualified Courier Services with the capability to provide the services under a 2-year contract with the possibility of extension up to 4 years subject to the vendor’s performance (2+1+1) for International Courier services and pouch delivery services. This contract will be established under a Long-Term Agreement (LTA).
The list of participating UN agencies is as below: UNDP - United Nations Development Programme UNICEF – United Nations Children's Fund UNFPA – United Nations Populations Fund UNHCR – United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees UNEP – United Nations Environment UNESCO – United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation UN Women – The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women UNDSS – United Nations Department of Safety and Security ILO – International Labour Organization FAO Food and Agriculture Organization WFP- World Food Programme UNAIDS - Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS UNDSS – United Nations Department of Safety & Security UNDCO – United Nations Development Coordination Office Any other UN Agency
The LTA will be signed for a duration of two years initially, extendible for two more years upon satisfactory evaluation of performance. The performance evaluation will be carried out at the end of each year by a focal group of all participating UN agencies.
