Introduction :

The purpose of this assignment is to design, develop and execute a UNDP exhibit at the GEF Assembly that showcases UNDP’s global portfolio, with a specific focus on the impacts and results achieved through the implementation of GEF resources, and allows interactive engagement with a wide range of participants (e.g. development partners, representatives of governments and civil society, academia, media, etc.). The exhibit will be interactive and include immersive features whereby participants can learn about UNDP’s work across regions, countries, themes and focal areas and understand the impacts and results in the field from the projects implemented by UNDP and its partners.

To achieve this objective, the following tasks will need to be accomplished, under the direction of the UNDP BPPS Vertical Fund Compliance, Oversight and Programming Support unit and the broader UNDP task team (consisting of focal points from the NCEW hubs, Regional Bureaux, BERA, Executive Office, etc.):

        ·       Develop and deliver, a strategic set of content to be showcased that is aligned to UNDP’s strategic priorities and key messages.

        ·       Coordinate with UNDP to curate existing content and assets and to identify where any new content/footage is required, including establishing clear and detailed instructions to ensure appropriate content is acquired from the field.

        ·       Ideate, design and produce the structure and features of a digital-led interactive and immersive exhibit to showcase the strategic messages and content.

        ·       Acquire the required equipment and ensure efficient communication to allow for the timely and effective delivery of the exhibit.

        ·       Develop detailed plans for the execution of the exhibit, including the logistical and operational coordination.

       ·       Execute the exhibition at the Assembly, including coordination with the relevant contractors and the conference venue to set up and take down in a timely manner, trouble-shooting technical or operational issues that might arise during the Assembly

       ·       Propose a plan for replicating the exhibit across other upcoming events/conferences
