Introduction
The Democratization and Elections project focuses on addressing root problems at the core of democratic governance in the State of Palestine. This project – developed in the context of national elections – has been realigned with the new political and institutional context to support the restoration of democratic institutions and ally with local and national civil society in the restoration of national democratic practice.
UNDP seeks a digital communication company (hereinafter partner) to contribute to public discourse on a range of crucial issues related to democratization. The project wishes to contribute to the quality and breath of public discourse to enrich the range of politically acceptable policies. By expanding the Overton window on issues related to democratization, we aim to support political development contributing to democratic consolidation in the State of Palestine.
The partner will be responsible for strategy development, content development, paid placement, thought leaders/influencer management, and monitoring/learning. UNDP will guide strategy development and messaging, approve final content, and periodically review the strategy.
The activities will be coordinated with key stakeholders in the Central Election Commission, media, civil society, and project partners.
