Overview

UNDP’s Gender Team in the Bureau for Development Policy produces knowledge and advocacy products on a range of thematic areas which can be browsed on our web site and which fall broadly under the following categories:

 ·        Gender and Poverty Reduction

 ·        Gender and Environment

 ·        Gender and HIV/AIDS

 ·        Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality generally

 UNDP developed a series of templates in MS Word and InDesign to create a more harmonized, standardized visual identity for UNDP products and publications while reflecting the diversity of the organization’s work and its corporate branding.  To a large extent, it alleviates the burden of designing products from scratch, saving time and reducing costs. The templates produced in InDesign still require a professional designer to complete the text layout, add any additional design elements (maps, charts, etc.) and finalize the design for printing/web placement. Other products may require custom design especially those co-produced with partners.  Whilst the MS Word templates are accessible primarily for staff to finalize products themselves, units may have need to contract this work out for various reasons.

 The Gender Team reserves the rights to enter into contract with more than one company.
