Overview

1. The Department of Water Resources has secured funds from United Nations development

Program (UNDP) in Gambian Dalasi towards the cost of Design and Supervision of

Construction of Provincial Hydrological Station in Bansang. It is intended that part of these

funds will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Construction of these facilities.

2. The Department of Water Resources (DWR) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for

the construction of its Bansang Station. The Works consist of the construction of building

structures and associated exterior works (fencing, pavements etc). General works include but

are not limited to:-

a) Civil:- Demolition and construction of block wall and concrete structures;

Rendering; Painting and Decorations; Roofing and Ceiling Works; External

Pavements and other associated works.

b) Electrical:- Wiring of all buildings; Installation of electrical fittings and

fixtures as required.

c) Plumbing:- Installation of new facilities. Construction of new disposal

systems and construction of elevated water storage tanks.

The works shall be performed at Bansang in the Central River Region
