The end date of bid submission date has been changed to:

  • 28 October 2019 on the time specified on the eTendering System.

BDS No. 6: Bid Security of USD 40’000:

  • Regarding BDS No. 6 on page 17, we requested Bid Security amount of USD 40’000.Please note that we changed the: Bid Security amount to USD 20,000.00.

BDS No. 8: Delivery / Contract time:

  • Regarding BDS No. 20 on page 20, the delivery period has been changed to 90 days instead of 60 days.

ITB SN 1.2 and 1.3: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) / Nitrile Rubber Gloves:

  • Please note that we requested total of 350 Nitrile rubber gloves Glove Gauntlet Nitrile flock lined (pairs) conforms to EN 388 & 374 of which 50 are of size 8, 250 are of size 9 and 50 are of size 10.

ITB SN 1.9: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) / Apron Overalls:

In the specification of goods of the ITB SN 1.9 on page 26 we required 200 apron overalls made out of vinyl with nylon-sealed edges and four heat-sealed grommets:

  • Please note that bidders can come up with price quotation of both item i.e for overalls for one-way or multiple use. As both methods would be ok – just to choose the cheapest. But Note that we’re not asking for overalls but for aprons which from experience are not very expensive, even the multi-use ones.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Ethiopia Country Office hereby invites you to submit a Bid to this Invitation to   Bid (ITB) for the above-referenced subject.

Interested and Qualified Bidders prepare their Bid in accordance with the requirements and procedure as set out in this ITB and submit it though eTendering indicated in :

Please acknowledge receipt of this ITB by sending an email to, indicating whether you intend to submit a Bid or otherwise. You may also utilize the “Accept Invitation” function in eTendering system not later than 11 October 2019. This will enable you to receive amendments or updates to the ITB. Should you require further clarifications, kindly communicate with the contact person/s identified in the attached Data Sheet as the focal point for queries on this ITB. 

 In the course of preparing and submitting your Proposal, it shall remain your responsibility to ensure that it is submitted into the system by the deadline. The system will automatically block and not accept any bid after the deadline. In case of any discrepancies deadline indicated in the eTendering system shall prevail.

Kindly ensure that supporting documents required are in the .pdf format, and free from any virus or corrupted files and Quotations. NOTE! The File name should contain only Latin characters (No Cyrillic or other alphabets).

Please note that ATLAS has following minimum requirements for password:

Minimum length of 8 characters.

At least on capital letter.

At least one number.

New bidder registering for first time, system will not accept any password that does not meet the above requirements and thus registration cannot be completed.

For already existing bidders whose current password does not meet the criteria, when signing in, system will prompt you to change the password, and it will not accept a new password that does not meet requirement.
