| Overview : In recent years, momentum for the disability movement has increased, making this a unique moment in time for UNPRPD. Attention and investment towards inclusion, more broadly, and the disability movement, specifically, is increasing – including the inclusion of disability in the Sustainable Development Goals. Within this shifting landscape, UNPRPD is looking to define its new 5-year strategic operation framework. This strategic planning process presents UNPRPD to answer a series of key questions about its future, all of which will be critical for engaging its members, DPOs and other partners and UN organizations engaged more broadly in accelerating the implementation of the CRPD. Purpose The purpose of this service would be to provide strategic guidance during the SOF development process which is meant to be highly consultative and participatory. The new Strategic Operational Framework will need to address upcoming challenges while acknowledging the critical role of the UNPRPD in the broader development arena and provide the Partnership with appropriate guidance to deliver as effectively and efficiently as possible. |
