| Overview : UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 qualified national consultancy firm for the Revision of the Pollutant Release and Transfer Register (PRTR) regulation and development of technical guidelines on PRTR for industrial sectors (Ref. 2-200202). The “Vietnam POPS and Sound Harmful Chemicals Management Project” has been endorsed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The expected project duration is 3 years. The official starting date of the project was 29 January 2016 and the expected closure date of the project is 31 July 2020. The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Vietnam (MONRE) and Vietnam Environment Agency (VEA) is the project owner. The project objective is the continued reduction of environmental and health risks through POPs and harmful chemicals release reduction.. The overall objectives of this consultancy service are: - to provide support on the development of guidance tool for estimating emission factors for release and transfer of pollutants (PRTR) in selected industrial sectors in Vietnam;
- to provide technical support in the revision of the PRTR draft regulation and two technical guidelines developed under the project..
The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
