Overview : The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are known as the world’s blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. SDGs address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The 17 goals are all interconnected, and in order to leave no one behind it is important that they are all achieved by 2030. As we entered the so-called Decade of Action, UNDP Regional Bureau for Arab States is launching a regional forecasting exercise on the development financing flows with a focus on all domestic and international resources (e.g. domestic public resources; domestic and international private business and finance; international development cooperation; etc.) Companies/Consultants will conduct pro-bono services to provide the following Development Finance Forecasting: - Data collection and analysis of all sources of development finance to the countries in the Arab Region over the last 5 years; and
- Forecast and analysis of development financing trends for short-term (3 years), medium-term (5 years) and long-term (10 years) based on at least three scenarios such as, for example, BAU, low growth and high instability scenario, high growth and low instability scenario.
