Overview : Adaptive Social Project (ASP) aims to ensure that existing social protection systems are more responsive to climate-related and other disasters. This project will support the Government of Indonesia which aims to transform existing social protection schemes into an Adaptive Social Protection system. Within 2 years, it is expected to have gathered sufficient evidence of the potential to reduce the exposure and enhance resilience of vulnerable individuals and communities to climate-related and other disasters by providing faster, more predictable, effective and accountable cash-based assistance before and/or after a disaster. In this project UNDP will assume a role in strengthening institutional governance and innovative financing based on evidence from pilot interventions. UNDP will work with MoSA, BNPB, KLHK, MoHA and BPS to leverage established methods for Socio-Environmental Vulnerability Assessment to prepare risk profiles for target groups (people with disabilities, indigenous communities, children and aged, women-headed households). UNDP will also facilitate engagement of private sector and philanthropies, which is essential for leveraging innovative financing for ASP. The Admin Support Consultant will be appointed to support ASP Project and RR Unit conducting administration process. These are expected scope of works/activities that will be carried by consultant: - The consultant serves as focal point coordination, monitoring and expedition of project administration
- The consultant will work closely with procurement country office
- The consultant will collaborative with programme team on various project activities i.e meetings, workshops and trainings
- The consultant will lead in preparation of procurement plan and its execution
