| Overview : The main objective of the Consultancy is to support the TRRC in the harmonization of the Draft TRRC Reparations Policy and Regulations Document, to ensure that the TRRC commences the implementation of a comprehensive reparations programme, in a transparent, equitable, efficient and culturally and gender sensitive manner. Scope of work Collection and review of existing TRRC policy documents, namely, the Reparations Policy, Draft Reparations Regulations, Victim Participation Support Fund Policy, Report on the Experts Meeting on Reparations, and the Regulatory Framework. Identification of gaps in relevant policies, laws, regulatory and institutional frameworks with a view to ensuring a harmonized framework for TRRC reparations. Development of a revised, harmonized TRRC Reparations Policy and Regulations for adoption by the Commission. Duties and responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the consultant shall include: Frequent progress reporting to the TRRC sub-committee on Reparations Preparation of an inception report Review and analysis of existing TRRC reparations policies, including the Draft Regulations, Victims Participation Support Fund Policy, and the Regulatory Framework. Harmonization of the TRRC Reparations Policy and Regulations. - The Consultancy is for a period of 30 working daysPresentation of the harmonized versions of the Policy and Regulations at a validation workshop.
- Consolidation of the stakeholder comments from the validation workshop into the final documents
