INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT PROCUREMENT NOTICE        

Description of the assignment: International Technical Advisor Consultancy for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency 

Duration: Approximately 180 days from 1st July 2020 – 1st June 2021.

UNDP Papua New Guinea is recruiting an International Technical Advisor for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. The Technical Advisor will report to the Head of the Environment Portfolio. S/he will be responsible for the planning and coordination of UNDP’s support towards environment sustainability efforts in his/her geographic area of operation. S/he will be working closely with provincial counterparts, civil society,
private sector (and an eventual successor programs/projects) in planning and coordinating the interventions of the key actors involved in the implementation of FREAGER and STREIT Projects A detailed TOR is available from the UNDP website at www.pg.undp.org under the relevant procurement section or upon request to Ripana James via email on procurement.pg@undp.org. 

Documents to be Submitted:

a) Current curriculum vitae outlining relevant experience.
b) Three-page statement of how the consultant will deliver the services highlighting methodology and
approach.
c) Price Proposal.
d) Duly executed Letter of Confirmation of Interest and Availability using the template provided by UNDP, which can be accessed from this UNDP PNG Procurement page. Financial Proposal that indicates the all-inclusive fixed total contract price, supported by a breakdown of costs, as per template provided. If an Offeror is employed by an organization/company/institution, and he/she expects his/her employer to charge a management fee in the process of releasing him/her to UNDP under Reimbursable Loan Agreement (RLA), the Offeror must stipulate that arrangement at this point, and ensure that all such costs are duly incorporated in the financial proposal submitted to UNDP
