Overview : UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 qualified Vietnamese consultancy firm to Conduct a study on Assessing Corporate Understanding of and Capacity for Responsible Business Practice in Viet Nam. (Ref. 2-200602) UNDP Viet Nam began driving forward responsible business practice in 2019 as part of a regional initiative on Business and Human Rights. The overall objective of the project is to strengthen responsible business practice and ensure respect for human rights in the context of business activity. A preliminary assessment of the regulatory framework on responsible business in Viet Nam is being undertaken. To complement the assessment and design effective interventions in subsequent phases of the project, a proper assessment of corporate understanding of responsible businesses practice is needed. The objectives of this study are to: - Assess corporate awareness of key concepts and practices of responsible business.
- Increase awareness and understanding of the importance and practical application of responsible business practices among businesses in Viet Nam.
- Assess the readiness of business in implementing responsible business practice in Viet Nam, including identifying implementation barriers.
- To inform the design of future interventions to implement responsible business practices among businesses and government programmes based on research findings.
- Begin a network and community of practice on responsible business among enterprises, government agencies, academic institutions, NGOs, responsible business practitioners and relevant stakeholders in Viet Nam.
