INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT PROCUREMENT NOTICE
Description of the assignment: International Technical Advisor Individual Consultancy for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
Duration: 12 months (with possibility of extension subject to performance and availability of funds)
UNDP Papua New Guinea is recruiting a International Technical Advisor. This consultancy will support the day-to-day management of the energy projects of FREAGER and STREIT through the provision of technical advice, including coordination across agencies and with other programs. To the extent possible, extend implementation of UN-supported projects on protected areas, climate change and disaster risk management. A detailed TOR is available from the UNDP website at www.pg.undp.org under the relevant procurement section or upon request to Tirnesh Prasad via email on procurement.pg@undp.org.
Documents to be Submitted:
a) A current curriculum vitae outlining relevant experience and expertise. This should include additional details such as education, training, years of experience and other such information that may be of relevance.
b) Three-page statement in support of their curriculum vitae on how they will deliver the services required. This statement should highlight their contextual knowledge of the Highlands and any relevant experience both in the Highlands and Papua New Guinea. The statement should complement the consultant’s curriculum vitae.
c) Duly executed Letter of Confirmation of Interest and Availability using the template provided by UNDP, which can be accessed from this UNP PNG Procurement page. This includes a Financial Proposal that indicates the all-inclusive fixed total contract price, mandatory travel and medical insurances, economy class return air fare, supported by a breakdown of costs, as per the template provided. If an Offeror is employed by an organization/company/institution, and he/she expects his/her employer to charge a management fee in the process of releasing him/her to UNDP under Reimbursable Loan Agreement (RLA), the Offeror must stipulate that arrangement at this point, and ensure that all such costs are duly incorporated in the financial proposal submitted to UNDP.
