| Overview : The United Nations Development Programme plays a vital role in supporting the social and economic development of agricultural communities in the developing world, and in improving supply chains so they work more efficiently and sustainably for all. UNDP’s Bureau for Policy and Programming Support (BPPS) supports Food and Agricultural Commodity Systems, covering a wide range of solutions to sustainable agricultural production. Within FACS the Green Commodities Programme (GCP) has deep expertise in facilitating collaboration between diverse stakeholders to encourage and enable joint action on critical issues for more sustainable production of agricultural commodities.
