OPEN CALL FOR CONCEPTS ON SHORT-TERM GRANTS FOR PROMOTING ACCESS TO LEGAL AID AND ASSISTANCE FOR THE POOR AND MARGINALIZED SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS IN KENYA The Civil Society Democratic Governance Facility (Amkeni Wakenya) is a civil society strengthening project of UNDP established in 2008 to provide coordinated technical and financial support to non-state actors working on democratic governance in Kenya. Amkeni Wakenya invites interested and eligible Non- state actors including NGOs, FBOs, Academic Institutions, CBOs to submit proposals for award of grants in a programme entitled “Promoting increased access to justice for the poor and marginalized special interest groups in Kenya”. The project is to be implemented in 12 counties of: Nairobi, Kisumu, Uasin Gishu, Nakuru, Mombasa, Mandera, Wajir, Isiolo, Garissa, Lamu, Tana River and Marsabit For more information on the areas eligible for funding, guidelines on the call and templates interested and qualified Non- State Actors should check- Background information and Guidelines for Submission of Proposals (Call 4) available on the UNDP website ALL Concept Notes and supporting documents must be submitted through UNDP Kenya e-tendering portal (strictly before deadline) using the following link: www.ke.undp.org http://www.ke.undp.org/index.php.procurements 9. ALL proposals should be submitted through e-tendering. 10. The deadline for the submission of applications is October 28, 2020 at 4.30 p.m. Kenyan Time. If there is a conflict between Kenya Time and E-tendering time on submission, e-tendering time will prevail.
