Overview :

The Office of Audit and Investigations (OAI) reports to the Administrator and is responsible for internal audit and investigation services to UNDP and its affiliated entities. OAI provides independent, objective assurance on the effectiveness of risk management and the effectiveness and adequacy of internal controls. OAI also responds to allegations of misconduct by conducting and reporting on investigations.

OAI needs to engage and award a long-term agreement (LTA) to a suitably skilled and experienced consultants to support OAI/Policy, Quality Assurance and Special Investigations Unit, to call upon as required. The consultant is required to provide assistance to the Policy, Quality Assurance and Special Investigations Unit with the review of draft investigation reports, management letters and other documents produced by the Investigations Section to ensure high quality and legal sufficiency of the work-products. The specific tasks that will be required of the consultant are:

1. Review citations to evidence in footnotes of investigation reports and other documents, and ensure they are accurate and complete.

2. Provide proofreading and editorial services, including ensuring compliance with the editing standards of the United Nations and relevant templates.

3. Perform other assignments or tasks related to investigations as determined by the Investigations Advisor, Head of the Policy, Quality Assurance and Special Investigations Unit.

How to apply: (The applicants are advised to use Internet Explorer (Version 10 or above) to avoid any compatibility issues with the e-tendering system. Note: only applications through UNDP e-Tendering system will be considered for this LTA.)

3. Submit your application/offer: Once you have registered into the UNDP e-Tendering system, you can log in the system and search for the procurement notice of this LTA by using following information:

You must apply and upload the following documents to the UNDP e-Tendering system and by the deadline indicated in https://etendering.partneragencies.org/

a.     Cover Letter-Explaining why you are applying for the position and highlighting any factors that you are particularly relevant to your application; 
b.     Completed P11 form or CV- including past relevant experience and contact details of 3 referees. A blank P11 form is provided in Annex 3.
c.      Financial proposal- indicating the proposed daily fee rate in US$ and using the Financial Proposal form provided in Annex 4.

Kindly ensure that required documents are in the .pdf format, and free from any virus or corrupted files and quotation. The file name should contain only Latin characters.
