Overview :

UNDP Project: “Modernization of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) System Related to Agriculture in Georgia - Phase 2” is announcing call for proposal for the NGOs and colleges that are active in providing the short-term vocational training courses in order is to support vocational educational, training/retraining institutions and other short-term training provider organizations (NGO’s) operating in the field of agriculture, also farmers and people involved in farming activity, for their capacity building and further development.

To this end, UNDP project intends to:

  • Strengthen public-private partnerships in the delivery of vocational education;
  • Support institutional development of vocational educational institutions;
  • Enhance the capacity of VET institutions in preparation and development of short-term trainings and project proposals;
  • Transfer of knowledge through people involved in agriculture activity. 

Grant Project Application should strive to suggest short-term training courses.

The project will select NGOs for the cooperation at the regional level using standard selection procedures and criteria related to the experience, management capacities, technical skills, and proposed budget.

Applicants shall bear all costs related to proposal preparation and submission.

A mandatory pre-bid conference (`Open Day`) will take place on 26 October 2020, at 11:00 by use of Zoom platform (details will be provided). Throughout the `open day`, all interested parties will be provided with the detailed review of the call as well as clarification of the questions that might arise.

Only one submission per organization is allowed. Once the application is complete and submitted, revised versions of proposal documents will not be accepted.

Submission Deadline

All proposal must be expressed in English. Proposals may be submitted on or before Thursday, November 12, 2020, 17:00 PM and via email to the address as follows: konstantine.kobakhidze@undp.org; mamuka.matiashvili@undp.org; lika.alavidze@undp.org.

Your Proposal must be expressed in English, desirable project duration is of maximum 6 months.

Note: Preference will be given to local regional NGOs. Consortiums (NGOs with private sector partners) are also encouraged to apply.
