Overview :

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Mongolia Country Office (CO) hereby invites national and international agencies with representation in the country to express their interest in providing full range of travel services.� The expression of interest should illustrate the ability of the travel agency to provide high quality travel services, including issuance of air tickets for official travel, emergency travel and medical evacuation, etc.

UNDP on behalf of the UN Agencies, invites potential travel agencies to express their interest for the above procurement. The expression of interest should specify UNDP reference number EOI-001-MNG-2020 and shall be received no later than 4 November 2020, 11:00AM, Ulaanbaatar Time.

The Expression of Interest shall include the following documentation:

  1. A brief profile of the company including size, geographical location and network, areas of expertise, years in business, product range, etc.
  2. Copy of valid Business registration documents and Quality assurance certificates e.g. ISO held by your company, either for company business processes or products, or both.
  3. Copy of Valid IATA certificate
  4. Duly Accomplished Annex A – Questionnaire

Submission Requirements – interested firms must submit the completed questionnaire (Annexure-A) and all other information/documents to the following e-mail address no later than 4 November 2020, 11:00AM, Ulaanbaatar Time:

Information Meeting

Based on the responses received, UNDP may request further clarification in the form of email, written communication or a presentation to the EOI review committee. Firms responding to this EOI shall designate a single contact within their firm for receipt of all subsequent information regarding this EOI. The name of this contact will be made available to the Review Committee.

Selection for the partnership

The responses will be evaluated by a committee comprising of representatives from major UN agencies in the Mongolia. The committee may invite respondents for further discussions and presentation.

The information received through this EOI may result into open competitive procurement process through Invitation to Bid. Solicitation and timelines for the ITB process will be shared with all respondents of this EOI.
