Overview

UNDP is looking for an International consultant for study on international standards and best practices/experiences on protection of personal data including that of disadvantaged groups .

The main objective of this assignment are:

  • To present international standards/regional laws and policies as well as best practices/experiences on protection of personal data, including protection of personal data in digital environment with a focus on the disadvantaged groups;
  • To provide recommendations on ensuring Viet Nam law on protection of personal data align with international standards; how best to apply best practices/experiences in the development of a legal framework on protection of personal data in Vietnam.

Specific tasks will be described in the TOR.

The selection will be on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
