| Overview : UNDP Vietnam is seeking for a national consulting firm/institution to undertake a Survey to assess the Green Development and Potentials for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Viet Nam (B-210102). The objective of the assignment is to undertake the survey of SMEs on the status and potentials for the green development of SMEs with focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy. It is expected that the survey will results in: - A situation analysis of awareness, practices, policies and plans, actions/measures, technologies, investment by SMEs on green development with focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy and existing policies and programs that support SMEs to invest in green solutions, green recovery and green development
- Assessment of challenges and opportunities, interest and readiness of SMEs in green development, investment in clean technologies, assess to green financing, participation in green supply chain, etc.
- Provision of specific recommendations in terms of technical capacity, investment requirement and required support and policies to enable SMEs to develop and implement green solutions.
- It is expected the survey will collect required information from 400 medium sized enterprises in the 5 sub-sectors including garment, fisheries processing, agricultural products processing, paper and pulp and 4* hotels.
