Amendment#1 of RFP:

An amendment of the RFP has been issued and uploaded a new file with yellow highlighted texts. Following are the summary of amendments:

1. Travels Expected: Yes. At least one visit/travel in the 7 provinces and all selected LGs is required. Therefore, your financial proposal should be all-inclusive including expected travel cost and meeting cost;

2. The correct person days requirement is 210 days. It was incorrectly mentioned 120 days in the RFP..

3. The submisison deadline has been extended until 5PM Nepal Standard Time, 28 February 2021.

This is re-announcement of REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) of reference# UNDP/RFP/14/2020 dated 25th November 2020.


Dear Sir / Madam:

We kindly request you to submit your Proposal for Assessment of the Present Status of Provincial and Local Governments to Localize the SDGs in Nepal. Please be guided by the form attached hereto as Annex 2, in preparing your Proposal. 

Proposals may be submitted on or before 1700 hours (Nepal Standard Time), Friday, February 19, 2021 and via email to

The technical and financial proposals should be in separate email messages mentioning the following subject lines:

Technical Proposal: UNDP/RFP/03/2021- Technical Proposal- {Bidder’s Name}

Financial Proposal: UNDP/RFP/03/2021- Financial Proposal- {Bidder’s Name}


Your Proposal must be expressed in the English, and valid for a minimum period of 90 days.

In the course of preparing your Proposal, it shall remain your responsibility to ensure that it reaches the address above on or before the deadline.  Proposals that are received by UNDP after the deadline indicated above, for whatever reason, shall not be considered for evaluation. If you are submitting your Proposal by email, kindly ensure that they are signed and in the .pdf format, and free from any virus or corrupted files. The proposals submitted by email must be limited to a maximum of 25 MB (each transmission) and no more than 6 email transmissions
