Overview

The UNDP Governance and Economic Management Support (GEMS) project of the Democratic Governance and Stabilization Unit (DGSU) aims to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations and the media to develop and implement a civic education programme at national and state levels, conduct public consultation and dissemination of constitution related materials and popularize the constitution making process. 

In this regard, the Program is seeking a competent and reputable civil society organization, media, national non-governmental organization, or community-based organization to conduct civic education programme at national and state levels on constitutional participation and making processes in Eastern Equatoria, Central Equatoria and Upper Nile,  to provide: 

  1. Civic education on constituional participation and making proces,
  2. Train journalist, editors, media house executive on ethical and objective reporting about constitutional making processes and conduct media monitoring to improve impartiality in media coverage of the constitutional making process,
  3. Sharing best practicies through the documentation and exchange of information on constitutional making process.
