| Overview : The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) UNDP is working to support AAI via a project funded by the European Union titled “Enhancing Knowledge and Evidence to Scale-up Climate Change in Africa via the Africa Adaptation Initiative.” The project’s main objective is to enhance the understanding of, and the capacity to expand, existing climate information, risk and vulnerability studies, and risk transfer options in Africa via strengthening the AAI to scale up climate change adaptation in Africa. The project is seeking the services of an Individual Consultant to manage the day-to-day project operations as well provide technical inputs to the knowledge management and communications activities and deliverables under each Outcome. In consideration of your qualifications, we are hereby inviting you to submit an offer for this particular assignment. To assist you in understanding the requirements of this assignment, we have attached hereto the following : a) The Terms of Reference for the assignment described above; b)The IC Proposal form for the technical proposal. c) The offerors letter to UNDP for the financial proposal d) The procurement notice and e)The Individual Contract and its General Terms and Conditions, which you would be expected to sign in the event you are the selected Offeror in this procurement process. This process is managed through the UNDP online eTendering system: https//etendring.partneragencies.org. Should you be interested and decide to submit an offer for this assignment, kindly send them no later than the date and time indicated in the system. Detailed user guide on how to register in the system and submit the proposal are attached to this notice. If you decide not to submit an offer, we would appreciate if you would advise us accordingly, preferably indicating the reasons for declining this invitation.
