Overview

The main objective of this assignment is to professionally edit, proofread and design the document of health and safety guidelines for small-scale miners in Namibia.

3. Scope of Work

The consultant will be expected to professionally edit and design the pre-existing Health and Safety guidelines for small-scale mining activities, which are simple and easy to understand and implement. The guidelines should be edited and designed in such a way that the information is clear, coherent and easy to understand. The consultant should be able to do a structural and stylistic edit, taking a holistic look at the written work to see how the various parts hang together as well as clarity, flow, tone, language and aesthetics. The consultant should be experienced in the subject (Occupational Health and Safety) to be able to see if the information provided is appropriate for the topic and for the intended audience (small-scale miners) and be able to add information where necessary. He/she will also be expected to deliver the Full Proposal with the timelines agreed with UNDP to allow for review before the deadline for submission.

5.��� Duration of the Work

The consultancy is expected to commence on the date of contract signature and is expected to end on the 30 July, 2021. The overall assignment will take approximately 20 days, which excludes about 10 days for the document review by UNDP and MME.

b) The Offerors Letter of Confirmation of Interest, Availability and submission of financial proposal, which you must accomplish and submit to UNDP; and
