The Government of Jordan via the Jordanian National Competitiveness Division in the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC) is seeking proposals from an experienced and reputed local consultancy to create a framework for establishing a mechanisms to measure and monitor Jordan's competitiveness based on a set of indicators, which will enable the assessment of the macro- and micro-economic performance of the country, and provide a comprehensive and accurate evaluation of the current state of Jordanian firms and sectors, and the condition of the business environment in which they operate.  The mechanisms will focus on tracking certain indicators to monitor these sectors' competitiveness and then be benchmarked against their counterparts both regionally and internationally.
