| Overview : UNDP is looking for 01 Individual National Consultant on developing measures to leverage public and private investment to implement adaptation. The main objective of the consultancy is to support MPI to develop measures to leverage public and private investments to implement adaptation activities. The consultant is expected to work with experts from MONRE, MOT, MARD, and MOH, as well as a range of international and national consultants, who are also mobilized by MPI and UNDP. The national consultant will more specifically be responsible to: Assess the current situation of public (covering all priority sectors) and private investments in climate change adaptation actions/projects/programs, based on the recently completed Climate Public Expenditure Review; Review national and international best-practices of private sector engagement in adaptation finance (including innovative financial solutions for private sector engagement and approaches for publicly-mobilized private adaptation finance); Identify barriers and incentive structures to leverage private sector investments in adaptation; and Propose solutions and strategies for all priority sectors to strengthen private sector engagement during the NAP implementation.
