Overview :

UNDP seeks national firms/organization to co-initiate and implement Circular Business Movement with the aim to:

  • Accelerate the transition to a circular economy in Viet Nam, by engaging and convening an ecosystem of business on Circular Economy, through the Viet Nam Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (VCESP)
  • Develop a pool of local CE experts and mentors through a training of trainers program. They will be stewards to coach and guide business to innovate and experiment with the Circular business models.
  • Co-design and implement a National Circular Economy Businesses Training program and train business in applying sustainable production models. Implement the training and incubation program  targeting businesses nationally. This may include applying the Circular Design Challenge (an initiative applying problem-based innovation challenge models to connect problem owners with solution owners to experiment and apply innovative ideas into practice).

To achieve the above goals, there is a need to form a coalition of partners to initiate the Circular Economy Movement in Viet Nam.
