| Overview : UNDP is looking for 01 National Consultant to take stock of Policies related to Nature-based Solutions in Viet Nam. The main objective of the consultancy is to inform a policy dialogue co-organised by UNDP and the Italian Embassy (tentatively in January 22). The overall goal of this workshop is to raise awareness, as well as, accelerate the understanding and adoption of Nature-based Solutions that contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in Viet Nam. The workshop will provide an informal platform for exchanging experiences, taking stock of existing NbS and discussing the potential for future deployment of NbS in Viet Nam. This research is part of a series of dialogue organised by development partners to inform technical discussions before and after COP26. Taken together, the preliminary research and the workshop aim to: 1. Increase knowledge of NbS, share national and international best practices, and foster dialogue among key stakeholders 2. Identify current implementation challenges to be unlocked and highlight opportunities for systematic deployment and scale-up of NbS in Viet Nam for mitigation, resilience, and adaptation Specific task of the consultant will be described in the TOR. ----------------------------------------------------------------- The selection will be on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
