| Overview : UNDP is seeking for 03 National Consultants to identify bottlenecks and solutions for SMEs in supporting industries to access long term capital necessary to become the drivers of green, sustainable and inclusive growth in Viet Nam. (Ref: L211002) Overall Objectives: The overall objective of the consultancy services is to contribute to the formulation and operation of the Viet Nam INFF to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs, to increase SMEs’ access to long term capital to become driver of green, climate-resilient and inclusive growth in Viet Nam. Specific Objectives: - Ability of domestic SMEs (that are exporting or 1st or 2d tier suppliers to large firms that are exporting/ participating in global value chains such as electrical appliances, electronics and motor vehicles….) to obtain necessary long-term capital for capital formation/investment in business expansion from all possible sources: private investment funds/investors, public SME support funds, corporate bond markets, commercial and development banks, peer-to-peer lending/investments, etc. (for SMEs to become driver of green, climate-resilient and inclusive growth) is assessed and related bottlenecks are identified.
- Recommendations, based on international experience, for improvement including in legal/regulatory/policy and institutional frameworks and practical implementation.
