| Overview : BACKGROUND: The Global Environmental Facility (GEF) Council has approved the full-sized project titled “Energy Efficiency through the Development of Low-carbon RAC Technologies in Trinidad and Tobago” (PIMS #5957) implemented through the United Nations Development Programme Trinidad & Tobago Country Office. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hereby invites suitable organizations to apply under this Call for Pilot Site Selection.The project is aimed at the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) sector and treating the issue of energy efficiency for large scale and small-scale cooling systems and units. Additionally, the project seeks to represent a holistic approach to encouraging a more sustainable pathway to energy consumption, through the adoption of energy efficient low-carbon technologies for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning end use. This Call for Site Selection is specifically related to the UNDP Project: Global Environment Facility (GEF) 6- District Cooling Installations. INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS: Applicants are required to complete the Pilot Site Assessment Form online with information about the entity, its business or type of services rendered, non-technical criteria related to the proposed site and technical data on the site. Completion of the pilot site assessment form is an online process on the Microsoft Form Platform link Applications will only be considered complete if the Site Assessment Form is done online on the Microsoft Form Platform.
