OVERVIEW

The UNDP implemented project “EU4Dialogue: Support to Conflict Transformation in the South Caucasus and the Republic of Moldova (Component 2)”, financed by the European Union, is announcing a grant scheme to improve the living conditions, promote socio-economic development and enhance human security in conflict-affected communities of the South Caucasus.

Under Round 1 of the grant scheme, NGOs/CSOs are invited to submit grant proposals with focus on Georgia under one of the two lots of the grant scheme. Further calls with wider geographical focus will be forthcoming.

WHO CAN APPLY

For Lot A: Community-based organizations that are locally registered as non-commercial, non-profit organization; have a physical presence in the target area of the project; have sufficient administrative, financial, and technical capacity to implement a grant, and desirably, demonstrate good track record of working with donors in the past.

For Lot B: Organizations that are locally registered as non-commercial, non-profit organization, academic or educational institution; have extensive administrative, financial, and technical capacity to implement a grant, and have 5 years of experience in conducting projects in conflict-sensitive setting.

PROCEDURE

Please, be guided by the Call for Proposals text uploaded hereto while preparing your grant proposal.

Please, send filled application materials electronically to eu4dialogue@undp.org. The subject line should indicate the chosen lot, such as: “Grant Proposal – Lot A”.

Deadline for submission of applications for Grant Proposals is 10 February 2022. In the course of preparing your grant proposal, it shall remain your responsibility to ensure that it reaches the electronic address stated above on or before the deadline.  Proposals that are received by UNDP after the indicated deadline or are incomplete shall not be considered for evaluation. Only one submission per organization is allowed. Once the application is complete and submitted, revised versions of proposal documents will not be accepted.

An online information meeting will be held on 24 December, 11.00 (GMT+4). To register for the meeting, please follow this link.

Online workshops will be held for applicants under Lot A. To register interest for the meetings, please fill in this form until 31 December 2021. The Project Team will contact applicants with information about the sessions.
