Overview : UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 qualified Vietnamese firm/institute/organization for Assessment of the use and release of the new persistent organic pollutants (POP) in industrial sectors in Vietnam (Ref. 2-220205) The objectives of this assignment: At global level, the production of several Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) (for instance the commercial penta and octa-BDE mixtures) has been discontinued since 2000. The objective of this assignment is to assess the use and of POP in some industrial sectors in Vietnam as well as the analytical determination of specific POPs in a number of articles and products currently marketed in Vietnam.
