| Overview : UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 National Consultant on mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions (Ref: T220501) Objectives: UNDP is looking for a national consultant on mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions to assist the Department of Climate Change (DCC), MONRE and UNDP in developing the Draft of the Decision. The expert will be supervised by (i) the DCC, MONRE drafting team, and (ii) the UNDP Senior Technical Advisor on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) & Climate Change Adaptation (CCA). S/he is also expected to work closely with MONRE officials and other mobilized technical consultants. The consultant will be responsible for the followings: - Review national and international best-practices related to the integration of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission mitigation into strategies and master plans;
- Support to develop guideline for integrating GHG mitigation into the national, regional and provincial strategies and master plans (the strategies and master plans are specified in Article 93 of the Law on Environmental Protection);
- Facilitate the presentation related contents at consultation meetings, and finalize the draft of the Decision.
