| Overview : UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 02 National Consultants to identify potential demonstration sites for MRF establishment and support development of regulations and policy in waste segregation, plastic waste management and circular economy, in Binh Dinh province (Ref: T220507) Objectives: - Develop a study report with recommendation of potential demonstration sites for the establishment of Material Recycling Facility (s) and sites for scraps collecting center in Quy Nhon city, based on status on domestic solid waste management and recyclable materials stream in Quy Nhon/Binh Dinh
- Provide technical inputs and coordinate with Quy Nhon PC, UNDP and experts during study of waste stream, design, installation and operation of the MRF and the scraps collecting center
- Develop framework and key milestones for the following policies and regulations: provincial waste segregation plan, plastic waste management plan, technical guideline on waste segregation and waste management and also circular economy action plan
- Develop plan to install waste collection and segregation infrastructures (including sorting equipment, bins) and setup in critical locations in the city, including pilot waste segregation campaigns at schools, restaurants, hotels, beaches which directly support to the inputs collection for the MRF.
- Provide technical supports for trainings, workshops on technical guidelines on waste segregation at source, waste management
