Training for Civil Society Organizations

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites CSOs to participate in a training “Management of Citizen Engagement Projects at the Local Level”

About Us:

The UNDP project “Fostering Decentralization and Good Governance at the Local Level in Georgia” (DGG), funded by the Danish Government, supports decentralization and good governance at the local level through promoting nation-wide policy reform, strengthening institutional and human capacities of national and local authorities, improving local service delivery and empowering right holders including women, youth and ethnic minorities to make their voices heard, engage in the political process, and hold duty bearers accountable. The project supports CSOs to develop and implement initiatives for strengthening citizen participation and social accountability. In 2020-2021, the DGG project supported 11 CSO-driven grant projects.

In 2022, UNDP intends to announce a call for proposals for CSOs to advance social accountability and citizen participation in the following six regions of Georgia: Guria, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Kvemo Kartli.

More information about the DGG project is available at:

To participate in the training, CSOs shall fill in the registration form at:  The deadline for submitting the applications is 18: 000, 23 June 2022. Only selected applicants will be contacted.
