| Overview : The Government of the Republic of Turkey has obtained a loan from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), for the Financing of the Uplands Rural Development Programme (URDP). Implemented in two regions, in a total of six provinces covering 45 districts and targeting 30,000 households: Eastern Mediterranean (Adana, Mersin, Osmaniye) and Western Black Sea (Bartın, Kastamonu, Sinop). During the implementation, program will focus its activities in uplands and transitional areas in the programme provinces where farm and pastureland is mostly above 600 m and where most of the forest villages and neighbouring forest villages are located. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti, Kırsal Dezavantajlı Alanlar Kalkınma Projesi’nin (KDAKP) finansmanı için, Uluslararası Tarımsal Kalkınma Fonu’ndan (IFAD) bir kredi almıştır. Uygulama sırasında, proje faaliyetleri yetiştiriciler ve mera alanlarının çoğunlukla 600 m'nin üzerinde olduğu ve orman köylerinin ve komşu orman köylerinin çoğunun bulunduğu proje illerindeki yaylalarda ve geçiş alanlarında yoğunlaştırılacaktır.
