RFQ-GAS MONITORING EQUIPMENTs (Installation, Commissioning, Training and after sales Services), Assorted Tools and Gas PPE Equipment
Overview :

In 2020, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development commissioned Technical Feasibility Report for the Enhancement   of Biogas Production at National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), Nakivubo Wastewater Treatment Plant. The final report was submitted by the consultant Savimaxx Limited (in consortium with Professional   Engineering   Consultants   Ltd) in May 2021.

The reported   raised   the following   safety concerns:   "Biogas   plants process large quantities of combustible   and toxic gases, which pose increased fire and explosion hazards in case of faults in design, material or control.   Methane is highly flammable and forms explosive   mixtures in combination with the oxygen in the air.'  Therefore, explosion protection is very important in biogas plants.  For these reasons biogas must be prevented   from entering working areas. Specific safety measures must be guaranteed during construction   and operation of biogas plants.  The risk of explosion is particularly high close to digesters and gasholders therefore sources of ignition must be prevented   at all times."

In relation to the above, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is extending support to National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), Nakivubo Wastewater Treatment Plant through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development.

This Request for Quotation is extended to suitably qualified companies to supply GAS Monitoring Equipments (Installation, Commissioning, Training and after sales Services), Assorted Tools and Gas PPE Equipments.
