Overview

1. Background

For the past 20 years, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GF) has worked with partners around the world to end the epidemics of HIV, tuberculosis and malaria and strengthen health and community systems.  Based on the Global Fund Board’s decision in November 2022, Solomon Islands has been allocated US$8,069,695 for tuberculosis (TB) and malaria.

Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) Solomon Islands is a national committee that oversees the effective implementation of the Global Fund grants.  CCM Solomon Islands invites qualified agencies to apply as Principal Recipient(s) (PRs) to manage the GF grants for malaria and TB components in partnerships with the Government of Solomon Islands for the period of January 2024 to December 2026.

Interested agencies should submit two attachments. Attachment – I pertains to technical, managerial, programmatic, monitoring, and capacity-building expertise. Attachment – II focuses on financial management, including auditing, reporting, registration, tax clearances, accountability and related documents. Both attachments must be completed and submitted to the CCM Solomon Islands as specified in the announcement.
