Overview

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), within the “Civil Service Training for the 21st Century in the Republic of Serbia” Project, opens Call for Proposals for Grants Competition to support the National Academy for Public Administration Research Center intended for civil society organizations, scientific and research institutions, as well as academic institutions.

The objective of the UNDP Call for Proposals is to establish ongoing collaboration between the National Academy for Public Administration and interested organizations in creating a framework for training civil servants.

The specific objectives of the competition are 1) initiation and implementation of the Research Center's activities, 2) measuring the effect of training provided by the National Academy for Public Administration, 3) preparation of recommendations for the further training of civil servants.

The expected outcomes of the project are:

1. Conducted research with the aim of evaluating the effects and determining the quality of the trainings

2. Created guidelines for the further development of professional training in public administration

3. Development of instruments and methodology for conducting research on the satisfaction of users (citizens and other subjects) with the work of public administration for the purpose of setting priorities areas for the professional development of civil servants and officials in local self-government units

4. Established continuous cooperation between NAPA and civil society organizations and scientific research and academic institutions

 

The project will be financed by two individual grants, in this sense it is expected that:

Grant 1: complete outcomes 1, 2, and 4.

Grant 2: complete outcomes 3 and 4.
