UNDP invites you to participate in an art competition aimed aimed at creating awareness on the Plastic Levy, behavioral change towards environmental and health impact by plastics. The implementation of the Plastic Levy coincides with Lesotho’s 200 bicentenary celebrations therefore, submitted artworks should also depict the message of hope towards creating the Lesotho We Want. Participants are encouraged to express their imagination through art, illustrating how Lesotho would look and feel without the burden of plastic pollution. Through their drawings, participants can showcase vibrant ecosystems and thriving communities, illustrating the profound impact of eliminating plastic waste on our natural and mountainous Lesotho. The winning art pieces will attract awards ranging from 1,000 LSL to 2,500 LSL and/or display of artwork during the plastic levy launch or used for any other designs that promote environmental protection by the partners.
