The UNDP has received in writing a query from a bidder. Please see below the query and UNDP official reply.

Question: If the machineries of the winning contractor were confiscated by the Isareli authorities, who will bare the responsiblity?

Reply: The machineries of the contractor on site are considered the contractor's sole property; it is the contractor's full responsibility to make his machineries safe and secure at all time; The contractor must issue insurance policies to mitigate all possible risks. The UNDP is not responsible in this case at all.

SUBJECT:  Rehabilitation of Agricultural Lands in Al-Daheriya and Al-Arroub- Hebron Governorate

The United Nations Development Programme / Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP), in cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture, with funds from The Islamic Development Bank (The Arab Monetary Fund’s Grant), would like to invite interested bidders to submit their bids for the Rehabilitation of Agricultural Lands in Al-Daheriya and Al-Arroub in Hebron Governorate.

In this respect, UNDP/PAPP request offers from eligible competitors for the supply of the works mentioned above and fully described in the statement of works and bill of quantities.
