| Overview : The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Belize (GOB) signed a Standard Basic Agreement whereby; UNDP will support and supplement the efforts of the Government of Belize at solving the most important problems of its economic development and to promote social progress and better standard of living to the people of Belize. This assistance shall be provided only in response to request submitted by the Government of Belize and approved by UNDP and made available to the Government, or to such entity as the Government may designate, and shall be furnished and receive in accordance with the relevant and applicable resolutions and decisions of the competent UNDP organs and subject to the availability of the necessary funds to the UNDP. The United Nations Resident Coordination Office (UNRCO) has now joined the UNDP in securing a Common Premise Office located at the New Social Security Building in the City of Belmopan and therefore, requires a contractor to construct the approved designs and concept layout. The Contractor is expected to work, under the guidance of the Assistant Resident Representative and direct supervision of HD Construction Ltd, for managing the completion of remodeling of the Common Premise Office as per the statement of work and bill of quantity selected. |
